Event Details
The ultimate Halloween movie, Rocky Horror is now a cult classic, preserved by the Library of Congress! The 1975 musical is a tribute to the science fiction “B Movies” of the 40’s and 50’s. Its amazing cast included then young actors Tim Curry as mad scientist Dr. Frank N. Furter, Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick as our heroine and hero, Meat Loaf, Jonathan Adams, and Charles Gray.
The night will start with a live performance by The Carole Mayedo Band!
For Rocky Horror, bring your costumes, bring your props (see below), and come early for the live music. The following props are allowed: balloons, confetti, "J-A-N-E-T" Cards, "B-R-A-D" cards, palm-sized single-pump water pistols, glow sticks, flashlights, rubber gloves, noisemakers, toilet paper, party hats, paper plates, bells, sponges, playing cards and rope. The following props are NOT allowed: food of any kind (including toast, hot dogs, and prunes), beverages of any kind, large or steady-stream water guns, rice, confetti cannons, lighters, and matches. All persons and property are subject to search upon entry. The Florida Theatre reserves the right to determine what is allowed into the venue.

Props Information

Parking
The Yates Building Garage is the preferred parking facility of the Florida Theatre. The Yates garage is visible across the Forsyth and Newnan Streets intersection from the Florida Theatre, but the garage entrance is behind the building at 200 East Adams Street. (Drive past the theatre on your right, across Newnan Street, past the Yates Building on your left, make a left on North Market Street and a left on Adams Street.) The Yates Garage is well lighted, staffed, monitored by security cameras, and is just $5 per car.
