Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox has been viewed on the ensemble’s YouTube channel more than 100 million times. Universally known for reworking current pop hits in the styles of jazz, ragtime and swing. The group first earned attention when their doo-wop remake of Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop” was viewed more than 4 million times on YouTube.
Other Postmodern Jukebox hits include: a New Orleans-flavored take on Guns N’ Roses’ “Sweet Child o’ Mine”; Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ “Thrift Shop” tricked out in flapper jazz; Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” rendered a 1940’s big-band standard and Puddles the singing clown performing Lorde’s “Royals” in his signature baritone.
