CHALK

Rumors. Hateful gossip. Threats. Malicious lies. Backstabbing. Jockeying for position. It’s just another day at school. CHALK, a play written by nationally known poet and radio host Al Letson, reveals the inner voices of children trapped in a society where bullying is tolerated in our schools, on social media, and in the work place. A sixteen actor cast brings awareness to verbal abuse and relational aggression in our community. Produced and Directed by Barbara Colaciello of BABS’LAB. Made possible by a grant from PNC Arts Alive.

Support our Community Outreach program:

Your tax-deductible donation not only will help offset additional production costs but provide an honorarium for the 16 actor ensemble for their performance at the Florida theatre and for the recording session of the CHALK audio play. We are so fortunate that they graciously volunteer their time for the 8-week rehearsal process.

  • Audio Play of CHALK produced by Al Letson will air on his popular podcast ERRTHANG giving educators, parents, and youth-geared organizations a powerful platform to move to a deeper level of thinking about aggressive interactions.
