Interested in learning more about the iconic Florida Theatre – Jacksonville’s premiere historical, architectural, and cultural treasure? Join us for a complimentary guided tour of the Florida Theatre at Art Walk. This is your opportunity to get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour from backstage to the balcony and everywhere in between.
Complimentary tours will be offered the first Wednesday of each month during Art Walk at 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, and 8:00 PM (unless otherwise noted). Tour capacity is 30 participants (determined on a first come, first served basis). A cash bar will be available.

During Art Walk on September 4th the Florida Theatre will host the 8th annual Pet Walk event from 5:00-9:00 PM. The Tour FT format will not be offered; however, historians will be available to answer any questions. Pet Walk is free, open to the public (and well-behaved, leashed pets), and promotes pet health, pet adoption, pet safety, and more!
- Wednesday, October 2nd – Christmas Contada
During Art Walk on October 2nd the International Youth Foundation will present Gracias Choir Christmas Contada at 7:00 PM. The Tour FT format will not be offered; however, historians will be available to answer any questions. This event is free and open to the public.

During Art Walk on December 4th the Florida Theatre will present David Dondero, current recipient of the Jacksonville Songwriter Residency. Funded by a Spark Grant from the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville, the Jacksonville Songwriter Residency invites songwriters from around the world to live in Jacksonville’s Spark District for a month to work on songwriting, recording and professional development, while participating in the music scene of downtown Jacksonville.
